Job summary

AbleLight is seeking an RBT to implement behavioral reduction and treatment plans for individuals with developmental disorders in a supervised setting. You will follow BCBA guidance to deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor client progress.

Data collection, reporting to families, and strict adherence to confidentiality are essential. This role emphasizes teamwork and precise execution of ABA strategies in daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with basic ABA knowledge (functions of behavior, teaching strategies).
• Preferred 1 year supporting individuals with lifelong disabilities and an active RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a BCBA, implement treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors and improve daily living skills.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data using Central Reach software.
• Provide progress updates to parents/caretakers as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure treatments follow established behavior reduction and skills protocols.
• Demonstrate knowledge of applicable behavioral techniques and adapt interventions as needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and dignity; work individually and as part of a team.

Under the close supervision by a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, the RBT will implement behavioral reduction or treatment plans for individuals with behavioral-based developmental disorders.

• Working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, implements treatment plans meant to reduce problematic behavior or improve daily living skills.


• Collects and analyzes behavioral data using Central Reach software.


• Provides updates to parents or other caretakers regarding client progress or ongoing treatments, as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor.


• Ensures that all treatments provided follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.


• Possesses working knowledge of subject matter and can adapt interventions based on client needs.


• Maintains client confidentiality and client dignity.


• Ability to work individual and as part of a team.


• Detailed oriented and proficient oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma Basic knowledge of ABA principles to include, but not limited to, functions of behavior, strategies to prevent challenging behavior, teaching techniques (NET, DTT), and behavior reduction strategies.

Experience: Preferred 1 year supporting individuals with lifelong disabilities

Lic or Cert: Current and Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification granted by the BCBA
