Job summary

Strides ABA in New York state is seeking a dedicated part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver in-home or daycare-based ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized plans, collect data, and support families to help children reach their goals.

Ideal candidates are18+, ready to train as an RBT, with a high school diploma and a passion for helping children. Driving may be needed for community and in-home services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center.

Position Overview:

• Strides ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician RBTto provide in-home, or daycare-based therapy for children with developmental disabilities.
• As a Registered Behavior Technician RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In this role, the Registered Behavior Technician RBTwill implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client’s quality of life.
• The Registered Behavior Technician RBTis key to delivering structured therapy and ensuring consistent progress. Our ideal Registered Behavior Technician RBT will collaborate with families, caregivers, and the clinical team to ensure each child reaches their fullest potential.

• Knowledge of ABA principles or willingness to learn through trainings provided.

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding child welfare and mandatory reporting.
• Physical ability to assist with safety protocols, including lifting or moving clients when needed.
