Join Our Team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Peak Potential Therapy!

About Us Peak Potential Therapy is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children with special needs. We are looking for caring, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will help children develop essential skills and reach their full potential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

  • Implement behavior intervention plans and academic programs under the supervision of a BCBA.

  • Work in one-on-one or small group settings with children aged 18 months to 21 years, focusing primarily on early intervention.

  • Assist with social, cognitive, communication, and self-care skill development.

  • Utilize natural environment teaching, social skills development, discrete trial training, and feeding therapy techniques.

  • Maintain and organize client materials.

  • Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and other professionals, including Speech, OT, and BCBA providers.

  • Encourage positive behaviors and teach socially appropriate alternatives.

  • Communicate with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any behavioral occurrences.

  • Prepare activity schedules and session notes.

  • Participate in monthly BCBA supervision sessions and attend required meetings.

  • Handle challenging behaviors, including aggression and tantrums, using appropriate intervention strategies (training provided).

  • Maintain professional documentation in accordance with BACB standards.

  • Be open to feedback and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of college education.

  • Required: BCI and FBI background checks.

  • Required: RBT certification (training available for the right candidate).

  • Required: CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Work Schedule & Locations
