Job summary

Kinfolk ABA is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Spotsylvania, VA. This part-time position offers after-school shifts and 15-17 hours per week to support in-home ABA therapy for children.

You will work under a BCBA, collect progress data, and contribute to treatment goals while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Benefitso include weekly pay, 401K, training support, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Has completed the 40-hour ABA training course.
• RBT certification preferred but not required initially.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ABA experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment goals based on client needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $27 - $30 per hour
• Part-Time: 15-17 hours/week
• Shifts: Afterschool
• Location: Spotsylvania,VA

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have completed the 40-hour training course in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Best to have, or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
