Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At a Time care is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Southington, CT. This part-time role focuses on delivering 1:1 ABA therapy in homes, schools, or community settings under BCBA supervision.

The successful candidate will implement treatment plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with families to ensure client success. RBT certification or willingness to obtain it is required; high school diploma or equivalent is needed.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $30/hour
• Part-Time: Monday, Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00 PM and weekends (10 AM - 4 PM or flexible)
• Location: Southington, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
