Job summary

River Rock Behavioral Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in South Bend, IN. This in-person role offers weekday evenings and Sunday shifts, with compensation between $18 and $23 per hour.

You will work one-on-one to implement ABA plans under BCBA supervision and help clients develop communication, life and social skills in a supportive environment. The position emphasizes data collection, client progress tracking, and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! This position involves working one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.

About the Role

As an RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Collect and record accurate session data
• Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals

Qualifications

• Current RBT Certification (required)
• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
• Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
• A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
