Job summary

Advanceable ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for part-time, home-based ABA therapy in Pounding Mill, VA and surrounding areas. You will provide individualized 1:1 in-home services in the child’s natural environment.

We offer $21–$25/hour, paid training, PTO, RBT certification support, and ongoing BCBA supervision for professional growth within a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification; if not, we'll support your path to certification.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills in children.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Track progress with session data and clinical notes.

What You'll Do

As an RBT, you'll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we'll support your path to certification
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients' homes throughout the Pounding Mill & Tazewell areas
• Part-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday-Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15-25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
