Job summary

Advanceable ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home, part-time ABA therapy. You'll work in the child’s home in Farmville, Jetersville, and surrounding areas, delivering 1:1 services under BCBA supervision.

The role requires an active RBT certification or commitment to obtain one, 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs, and reliable transportation. Flexible hours and ongoing mentorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification, or plan to obtain certification with support.
• 1+ year of experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Willingness to work in clients' homes across the LOCATION area.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans for each child.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Track progress with session data and clinical notes.
• Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training.
• Stay active during sessions and engage with children.

What You'll Do:

As an RBT, you'll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans

• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills

• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques

• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes

• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team

• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training

• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We're Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we'll support your path to certification

• Passion for working with children and helping others grow

• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required)

• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism

• Ability to work in clients' homes throughout the [LOCATION] area

• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available

• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday-Friday; weekends as needed)

• 15-25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
