Job summary

Achieving True Self (ATS) seeks a Behavioral Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism. Paid training provided, plus ongoing support and growth opportunities across home, school, or community settings.

You’ll work with a supervising clinician to implement plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure high-quality care, all while contributing to ATS’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or GED (minimum) and 18+ years old.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (or related coursework).
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and your own reliable vehicle is required.
• Evening/after-school availability preferred (sessions typically 2–6 hours, Mon–Fri).
• General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Celebrate small wins that lead to meaningful progress.

Position: Behavioral Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Hourly Pay: $19-26/hr for direct billable hours (based on experience)
• Training, onboarding, and drive time: Paid at $15/hr
• Paid RBT certification training provided within your first month of employment
