Job summary

Harwood Center in Memphis, TN is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Role includes implementing treatment plans, data collection, and collaboration with BCBAs in a clinic/home/school setting. Must pass background checks and have RBT certification; HS diploma or GED required with preferred bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Employment is contingent on successful background check and fingerprinting.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and adaptability skills.
• Comfort working with children of all abilities.
• Ability to participate in active, hands-on play, including running, sitting on the floor, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clinic, home, or school settings.
• Track progress and document using CentralReach software.
• Collaborate with BCBAs under supervision to deliver quality care.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for learners.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers, staff, and care team members.
• Maintain client confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines.

Harwood Center is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our mission-driven team. Guided by our commitment to Compassionate Care, Competent Care, and Collaborative Care, you’ll provide high-quality, one-on-one ABA therapy to help young children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 Therapy: Implement individualized ABA treatment plans in clinic, home, or school settings.
• Track Progress: Collect session data and complete documentation using CentralReach software.
• Collaborate with BCBAs : Work under the guidance of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to deliver quality care.
• Support a Positive Environment: Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging space for learners.
• Build Meaningful Relationships: Communicate professionally with caregivers, staff, and members of the care team.
• Protect Privacy: Maintain client confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines.

What You Bring
