Job summary

Advanceable ABA in Martinsville, VA, seeks motivated RBTs for in-home, 1:1 ABA therapy with children. Join a supportive clinical team and work under BCBA supervision in the child’s home, in Ridgeway and surrounding areas.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay of $21–$25 per hour, paid training, PTO, and RBT certification and renewal support. Transportation and reliability are essential as you visit clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification; if not, Advanceable ABA will support certification.
• 1+ year experience working with kids or individuals with special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Track progress through session data and clinical notes.
• Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team.

What You’ll Do

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We're Looking For

• Active RBT certification, if not we’ll support your path to certification
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the [LOCATION] area
• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday-Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15-25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
