Job summary

Advanceable ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home ABA therapy in Charlotte, NC. This role offers part-time, flexible schedules with a home-based setting where you work directly in the child’s environment to support learning and growth.

You’ll receive paid training, supervision from a BCBA, opportunities for career growth, and benefits including PTO, referral bonuses, and ongoing mentorship to advance your skills in ABA.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification; if not, we’ll support your path to certification.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Charlotte, NC area.

Responsibilities

• As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills.
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes.
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team.
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training.
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
