Job summary

Advanceable ABA is hiring an in-home RBT in the Lynchburg area to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. You will work in the child’s home, focusing on communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based ABA approaches.

Requirements include active RBT certification or support for certification, reliable transportation, and 15–25+ hours weekly with both part-time and full-time options. Training, mentorship, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification is required or supported for certification
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients' homes throughout the area
• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Mon-Fri; weekends as needed)
• 15-25+ hours per week depending on availability and client needs

What You'll Do

As an RBT, you'll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We're Looking For

• Active RBT certification, if not we'll support your path to certification
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required)
