Job summary

Advanceable ABA VA in Emporia, VA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for in-home, 1:1 ABA therapy with BCBA supervision. This part-time role offers flexible schedules, a supportive team, and opportunities to help children learn daily living, communication, and social skills.

You’ll work in clients’ homes, follow individualized treatment plans, track progress, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or path to certification support
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the LOCATION area
• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Mon–Fri; weekends as needed)
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on availability and client needs

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Track progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicate professionally with families and clinical team members
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Stay active and engaged during sessions with children (sitting, squatting, walking, running, playing)

What You’ll Do

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:
