Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavior intervention in school settings. The role supports students with ASD or other developmental challenges under supervision from a BCBA or qualified professional.

You will implement behavior support plans, collect data on student progress, and contribute to educational goals while collaborating with clinical leads and classroom staff. Opportunities for professional development and growth are available.

Qualifications

• RBT certification from BACB is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience working with children/adolescents with ASD or other developmental disabilities in school or clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior intervention services to students.
• Implement ABA-based behavior support plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress.
• Support skill acquisition and independent functioning.
• Document services and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with classroom staff, BCBA, and other team members.
• Monitor progress and adjust supports as needed.
• Follow school policies and professional guidelines.

Position Summary:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you will provide direct behavior intervention services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professional, you will implement behavior support plans, collect data on student behavior and support the educational goals of students with behavioral challenges.
