Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an ABA therapist to conduct one-on-one sessions with children and young adults with Autism in home or community settings. You will implement individualized plans, participate in team trainings, and maintain accurate data and communication with the BCBA and RBT team.

The role emphasizes strong writing and verbal communication, adherence to BACB guidelines, and willingness to undergo background checks while commuting to client homes.

Qualifications

  • 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication.
  • Willing to have a background check.
  • Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to clients’ homes.
  • Must possess a High School Degree.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Bending and squatting for up to an hour per day.
  • Ability to perform activities requiring fine and gross motor skills, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting at floor level or in a chair, and standing for periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Enter daily data and all trials used for each pediatric patient and targeted program
  • Remain available for required supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
