Sunny Days Sunshine Center in Lawton, OK is hiring Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT) to provide ABA services in our outpatient pediatric center. No experience required; training provided with an RBT course offered at our centers. You will implement BCBA plans, collect data, and support children with diverse needs.

Flexible schedule incl. day, afternoon, evenings, and weekends; possible up to 29 hours per week with gradual caseload growth. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Interest in children and education.
• Desire to assist students with special needs in a learning environment.
• Basic computer literacy of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, ACCESS.
• Lift up to 50 lbs if necessary.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Active RBT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow BCBA program book.
• Run and implement BCBA programs (imitation, directions, play, academic, motor skills).
• Collect data on progress and behaviors.
• Move children through program steps.
• Problem solve to help with behaviors.
• Converse with parents regarding sessions and behaviors.
• Educate parents and develop session materials.
• Collaborate with Sunshine Center team.
• Be able to restrain, run after, or lift a child if necessary.
• Physically prompt a child and implement behavior plans.
• Complete all paperwork by deadline.
• Assist with diaper changes and potty training as needed.
• Perform other duties and work with children at the Center and at home as needed.

Job description

We are hiring Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT) to provide ABA services in our Outpatient Pediatric center in Lawton, OK. Experience working with children with disabilities preferred. Flexible Schedule with day, afternoon, evenings and weekend availability.

Behavior Therapist will implement behavior plans created by the BCBA. This position requires up to 29 hours per week with a gradual caseload increase.

No experience necessary. We will train you! We also offer the RBT course at our Centers.

The Sunshine Center is dedicated to children of all ages experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language difficulties, and/or motor development delays.

Job Description:
