Job summary

Sunny Days Sunshine Center in Manalapan, NJ is hiring RBT therapists to work at our Outpatient Pediatric Center. Join a dedicated team providing ABA therapy to children with autism and their families.

We offer flexible schedules with afternoon, early evening, and weekend availability, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional development. Part-time positions include benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401k eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with children with autism and ABA methods.
• We provide coursework to obtain RBT at our Center.
• Energetic, animated and outgoing with a passion for helping children.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA programming under BCBA direction.
• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy and teach social and daily living skills.
• Respond to challenging behaviors and minimize disruption.
• Collect data and track progress using online systems.
• Support parents, teachers, and caregivers for consistency across environments.
• Implement programs designed by BCBA.

We have after school, early evening, and/or weekend availability. We are hiring RBT therapists to work at our Outpatient Pediatric Center located in Manalapan, NJ.

About Sunny Days Sunshine Center

The Sunny Days Sunshine Center offers children and their families a place for developmental services and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapy. A one-of-a-kind center designed to promote positive behavior, increase quality of life, and enable individuality, the Sunshine Center embraces children and their individual needs.

The Sunshine Center is dedicated to children of all ages experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language difficulties, and/or motor development delays.

The Sunny Days Sunshine Center provides both individual and group Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy sessions to children of all ages.

Job Responsibilities

Our ABA and RBT Therapists implement individualized applied behavior programming under the direction of a BCBA, including direct 1:1 ABA therapy. Responsibilities are as follows:

• Use the basic principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) such as: reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.

• Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills.

• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors.

• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for every individual.

• Collect data on ABA programming targets and utilizing an online system to enter, track, and view progress.

• Providing support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to make the most of their efforts in making our programs universal across all areas of the child's environment.

• Implement programs designed by BCBA.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism & using ABA methodologies is required. We will provide coursework to obtain RBT at our Center, if interested.

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis field is preferred but not required.

• Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.
