Job summary

Achieving True Self (ATS) is seeking a Behavioral Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism in home, school or community settings. No college degree required, and paid training is provided from day one.

You’ll receive direct pay for hours worked ($19-$26/hr), plus $15.00/hr for training and onboarding. RBT certification training is paid during your first month to help you begin a meaningful career with ATS and its mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or GED (minimum) and 18+ years old.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (or related coursework).
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and your own reliable vehicle is required.
• Evening/after-school availability preferred (sessions typically 2–6 hours, Monday–Friday).
• General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in various settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure high-quality care.
• Celebrate small wins that lead to meaningful progress.
• Be a steward of ATS’s mission, values and beliefs.

Position: Behavioral Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Hourly Pay: $19-26/hr for direct billable hours (based on experience)
• Training, onboarding, and drive time: Paid at $15.00/hr
• Paid RBT certification training provided within your first month of employment
