Job description

Discover a purpose-driven career at Astra ABA, where we prioritize individualized therapy for children. We're currently seeking passionate RBTs to join our team of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapists, supporting children in realizing their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism at the client's home.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Establish relationships with clients to assess interests and motivators, implementing behavior plans effectively.
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans written by a supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate data for treatment plans and behavior programs for BCBA analysis.
• Serve in a direct care role, consulting with BCBA regularly for support, training, and supervision.
• Adjust interventions as instructed by the supervising BCBA when necessary.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of each client’s intervention plans.
• Maintain RBT credentials by completing the annual RBT Competency Assessment per BACB guidelines.
• Track and receive supervision hours to ensure compliance.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
• Document, sign, and submit sessions for timely billing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician Certificate with the BACB.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with families and documenting sessions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Motivated team player with patience and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Verifiable work references and ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum of 6 months experience utilizing ABA therapy with individuals with autism is preferred.
