Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an ABA therapy professional to conduct 1:1 sessions with children and young adults with Autism in home or community settings. You will implement individualized treatment plans and work closely with a BCBA and RBT team.

Applicants should have a background in ABA, strong communication skills, and willingness to undergo a background check. A valid driver’s license and car are required for client visits.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication.
• Willing to have a background check.
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to clients' homes.
• Must possess a High School Degree.
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs and perform bending/squatting activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism.
• Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between ages 2 and 21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA and other RBT team members regarding treatment delivery.
• Receive supervision from a BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Enter data and all trials utilized daily for each pediatric patient and targeted program.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed
• Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA and other RBT team members regarding treatment delivery

• Maintain professional boundaries around child patients and their families as indicated by the BACB
• Enter data and all trials utilized daily for each pediatric patient and targeted program
• Remain available for supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA
• Perform other duties as assigned
