Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care (ASAT) is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings. You will work under a BCBA to implement plans and track client progress, collaborating with families to support success.

The role emphasizes data collection, confidentiality, ethical practice, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour
• Part-Time: Monday to Friday 3:00 – 6:00 PM and weekends (9:00 AM - Noon or 2:00 - 6:00 PM)
• Location: Yonkers, NY
