Job summary

ABA Revolution in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis. Shifts run 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

You will implement BIPs, provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism, and collect data on progress during each session. Collaborate with BCBAs to refine interventions, coach families, and use positive reinforcement to promote skill development.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • College degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as an RBT.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients, families and team members.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between service locations (if needed).
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Position Overview
We seek a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. This is a full time, salaried position. Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by BCBAs to improve social, communication, and daily living skills.
  • Provide 1-on-1 support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings.
  • Collect and accurately document data on client progress and behavior during each session.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust and refine interventions based on data and client needs.
  • Support and train families or caregivers to understand and reinforce behavior techniques.
  • Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to encourage skill development.
  • Maintain professional communication with BCBAs, families, and other care team members.
  • Ensure a safe environment by implementing de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • College Degree Preferred
  • At least one year of experience working as an RBT.
