Job summary

University of Nebraska Medical Center seeks a Registered Behavior Technician for on-site work in Omaha. You will deliver 1:1 behavioral therapy to children with autism under supervision, assist with data collection, and help prepare progress notes.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School education or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of six months experience working with children
• Licensed as a Registered Behavioral Technician or ability to obtain a RBT license within 90 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans directed by a BCBA or BCBA-D/Licensed Psychologist
• Prepare for and handle potentially volatile care situations

Position Summary

POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY
Provide direct, 1:1, assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention supports (e.g., behavioral therapy services) to children diagnosed with autism spectrum or related disorders. This position will assist the BCBA or BCBA -D with case management responsibilities to include graphing data and preparing daily progress notes.
All behavioral therapy strategies and intervention components will occur through the implementation of a treatment plan that is prepared and directed by a BCBA or BCBA -D/Licensed Psychologist
