Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians and RBTs for in-home ABA services in Georgia. The position offers part-time hours (12–20 per week) from 3–7 pm on weekdays, with a focus on improving communication, social interaction, and self-care skills for children with autism.

Experience is welcomed but not required, and opportunities exist for professional growth, including RBT and BCBA pathways with support and financial assistance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT) if already obtained.

Responsibilities

  • Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Observes and reports client progress and behavior daily.
  • Manages challenging behaviors and applies behavioral principles.
  • Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
  • Communicates professionally with parents and team members.
  • Completes daily paperwork and data entries accurately.

We are seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. What Do You Bring to the Role?
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
  • Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
  • Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
  • Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
  • Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
  • Devices: Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions (not just a smart phone).
What Would You Be Doing?
  • Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
  • Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
  • Manages challenging behaviors.
  • Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
  • Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
  • Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
  • Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
  • Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
  • Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information.
  • Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
