Butterfly Effects is hiring Behavior Technicians for in-home ABA sessions in Georgia. Part-time 12-20 hours weekly, with weekday shifts from 3 to 7 pm, focusing on communication, social skills, and self-care for children with autism.

Training and growth paths toward RBT and BCBA are available with company support. Ideal candidates bring a genuine love for children, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Interest in ongoing development.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Must have a Tablet or Laptop for sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, and clients.
• Works as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data notes in our online database.
• Participates in ongoing training to increase skills.
• Maintains client confidentiality and follows policies.

What Would You Be Doing?

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
