Job summary

AFL Autism Services: Adapt For Life is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support children with autism by implementing behavioral plans and documenting progress. You will work as part of a treatment team with BCBA supervision and training to help clients develop language, social, and daily living skills.

The position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for certification advancement, education assistance, and a structured weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and people skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated organizational and analytical abilities.
• Team-oriented with capacity to collaborate with families and staff.
• Experience in ABA or related behavioral health field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies empirically based behavioral principles consistently with clients and staff.
• Implements Individualized Treatment Plans under supervision.
• Teaches language, academic, self-help, and social skills per ITPs.
• Assists clients to acquire life skills including daily routines.
• Maintains documentation, progress notes and data on time.
• Adheres to confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
