Region 14 School District in Connecticut seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to support students with disabilities under BCBA supervision. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and update graphs as required, while upholding professional standards and collaborating with the school team.
The ideal candidate has an RBT certification, HS diploma (or higher), and experience or coursework in autism/ABA.
Registered Behavior Technicians will adhere to the BACB's task list and professional standards. RBT is expected to collect and enter data as well as update graphs as needed by BCBA supervisor. RBT will implement skill acquisition procedures as described by BCBA/Case Manager. RBT will implement behavior reduction protocols/plans as well as crisis/emergency protocols. RBT is expected to effectively communicate with all team members. Effectively communicate with a supervisor in an ongoing manner. Actively seek clinical direction from supervisor in a timely manner.
Experience working with students with disabilities. Ability to collect, record, graph and monitor student behavior/achievement data. Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) . Ability to provide direct services to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Ability to implement Behavior Intervention Plans. RBT Course completion and Certification. Current PMT/First Aid certification preferred.
