Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Join NoCal Behavioral Services, LLC (NCBS), a rapidly expanding nationwide provider of ABA services. We offer in-home, school-based, and community support to families across the United States. As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.

Job Description:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at NCBS, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized treatment plans crafted by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your work will focus on fostering language, social, behavioral, and daily living skills in engaging, play-based environments that motivate and encourage positive outcomes for each client.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement tailored treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  2. Teach and promote essential skills through interactive and enjoyable activities.
  3. Collect and accurately record data on client progress, utilizing our online database for tracking and case notes.
  4. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educators to ensure a cohesive approach to the treatment plan across all settings.
  5. Maintain consistent communication with clients, NCBS staff, and supervising BCBAs.
Qualifications:
  1. Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred; candidates willing to pursue certification are also encouraged to apply (visit https://www.bacb.com/rbt/ for details).
  2. Some college or work experience required.
  3. Experience working with children, especially those on the Autism Spectrum or with developmental disabilities, is strongly preferred.
  4. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  5. Ability to pass a 10-year background check.
  6. Willingness to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
  7. Comfort in working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to seek guidance when needed.
  9. Proficient in computer skills and capable of working independently while being a team player.
  10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be self-motivated, creative, organized, and dependable.
