Job Description: Behavior Technician at A.G.E.S Learning Solutions

Responsibilities:
  1. Implementation of Behavior Plans: Execute behavior intervention plans developed by BCBA or licensed professionals to address challenging behaviors. Teach skills such as communication, social, adaptive, and independent living skills based on individualized treatment plans.
  2. Direct Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to provide one-on-one therapy sessions, teaching and reinforcing targeted skills and behaviors. Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure safety.
  3. Data Collection and Analysis: Record behavioral data accurately during sessions to monitor progress, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  4. Collaborative Support: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including BCBA, therapists, educators, and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support plans.
  5. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices, interventions, and regulations in the field.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $22-$27/hour
  • Healthcare benefits (medical, vision, dental), Paid Sick Time, and PTO

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • ABA or childcare experience preferred
  • TB Test and Background Check clearance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Interest in human behavior and ABA principles
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for individuals with special needs
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Commitment to ethical ABA practices aligned with A.G.E.S mission and vision
