Job summary

Magical Moments ABA in Tucker, GA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for part-time, client-focused ABA therapy under BCBA guidance. You will provide one-on-one and small group care, collect progress data, and maintain a supportive environment for clients and families.

The role requires RBT certification and supports ongoing professional development, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with therapists, caregivers, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
