Job summary

Magical Moments ABA in Villa Rica, GA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support clients in one-on-one and small-group settings under BCBA supervision.

You will collect data, record progress in Central Reach, maintain a safe, empathetic environment, collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers and other professionals, and ensure HIPAA privacy and compliance within the clinic schedule.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required
• 6+ months ABA experience preferred
• Knowledge of general ABA practices
• At least 18+ years of age
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings under BCBA supervision
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to guidelines, compliance, and regulations
• Record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing/payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and patient privacy policies (HIPAA)
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding progress and findings
• Adjust therapy plans with BCBAs based on client progress and needs

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA

• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach

• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families

• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation

• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)

• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations

• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies

• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings

• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
