Job summary

Children Making Strides is seeking an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician to provide ABA therapy to children aged 2-9 in home, daycare and center settings. You will work under supervision to deliver engaging, play-based sessions and draft progress reports for senior health professionals.

Ideal candidates are patient, creative and empathetic, with a background or interest in ABA and working with autistic children. A driver's license and reliable vehicle are required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a registered vehicle and active car insurance.
• Experience or interest in ABA and working with children is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy services to children at homes or in our clinic, drafting reports to relay progress to senior health professionals.
• Help children build vital life skills surrounding communication and socialization needs.
• Work alongside like-minded individuals to create best outcomes and impacts.

• Must have a valid driver's license, a registered vehicle and active car insurance.

Physical Requirements:

• Maintain close, continuous proximity to clients throughout sessions.
• Respond quickly to elopement attempts and behavioral crises, including physical intervention when necessary.
• Perform prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and floor-level work.
• Provide continuous, uninterrupted supervision of clients throughout scheduled sessions.
