Our Child Therapy in Virginia seeks a passionate Behavior Technician to support children and families by delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You will implement behaviour-based treatment plans, educate parents, and collect data to track progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience with children and strong people skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children
• Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
• Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
• Implement behaviour-based treatment plans
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients
• Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
• Maintain training materials and supplies
• Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources
