Here's what we need from you:
Education: High school Diploma or College Degree required
RBT REQUIRED
Experience: Two-Three years’ experience as an active RBT.
Dependability: Consistency and reliability are crucial for the individual's success
Knowledge of Autism and related behavioral interventions preferred
Integrity: You must perform your role with the utmost integrity and professionalism
Positivity & Patience: It's all about a positive attitude!
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Background Check: Willing to have background check completed
Transportation: Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to the home of clients
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Able to perform activities that require fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sit on floor level or in a chair, or stand for periods of time while working with clients.
Able to respond quickly over short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of clients.
Able and willing to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
RBT Job Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities in the home or community setting.
Implement behavior intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21
Conduct discrete trials, natural environment teaching, and utilize a variety of skill building and reinforcement methods in line with the treatment plan during sessions.
Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions for all programs targeted and enter into EMR daily.
Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA, other RBT team members, clinical directors, and families to support the clients’ needs
Receive Supervision from a BCBA at a minimum of 5% of services provided.
Maintain professional boundaries around all clients and families.
Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs
Able to effectively resolve conflicts and challenging situations smoothly.
Maintain proactive communication with supervisor for feedback and guidance.
