JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the A. Harry Moore administration, provide Behavior Therapy services to students with multiple disabilities ages 3-21 including:
NJ School Registered Behavior Technician Certification
An RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) implements behavior plans for individuals (often children with autism) under a BCBA's supervision, teaching skills like communication, social interaction, and daily living through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques (like DTT, NET, reinforcement), collecting data, and collaborating with families to reduce challenging behaviors and improve quality of life. It's an entry-level role focusing on direct service delivery, data tracking, and maintaining ethical standards.
Evaluation: The performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Principal in accordance with New Jersey State Law and the provisions of the policy on the evaluation of certified staff.
