Job summary

A specialized behavioral services provider in Memphis seeks Registered Behavior Technicians to join their team. The successful candidate will implement treatment plans for clients with autism and other developmental delays. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one therapy, collecting data on client progress, and communicating with families and supervisors. Candidates must possess a valid RBT certification or complete training within 60 days, plus experience working with children/adults with ASD preferred. Qualifications

• Must have current, valid RBT certification or have completed the 40-hour RBT training course.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience working under a BCBA.
• Access to reliable transportation and local travel required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible, full and part-time schedules.
• Experience with ASD preferred; CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; able to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA/LBA.
• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report findings.
• Support BCBA with training families on treatment plans.
• Be responsive to clients, families, and supervisors' needs.

Job description

Our team of professionals is passionate about supporting individuals at every stage of their developmental journey. We are currently seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to join our growing team. Registered Behavior Technicians are responsible for assisting BCBA/LBAs implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. The Registered Behavior Technician must possess an understanding of autism/intellectual disabilities, and how to treat the deficits and behaviors associated with the diagnosis and learn applied behavior analysis (ABA) standards and practices. This is an hourly, non-exempt, full-time position where you will serve as an integral member of the therapy team working directly to contribute to client and family success.

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA/LBA in clients’ homes, schools, and/or center
• Provide one on one in-home/center/community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications:

• Must have current, valid RBT certification or have already completed your 40 hour RBT training course and must obtain your RBT certification within 60 days of hire.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience working under a BCBA or in the process of completing hours for fieldwork to ultimately become a BCBA
• Access to reliable transportation, and local travel required
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• The ability to work flexible, full and part-time schedules
• Experience working with children and/or adults with ASD, preferred
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work with others and assist other team members
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
