Job summary

Magical Moments ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Dahlonega, GA to provide direct client care in individual and group settings under BCBA guidance.

You will collect data, maintain a supportive environment, and collaborate with the care team to implement therapy plans while adhering to RBT ethics and HIPAA. This role offers a full-time schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings per BCBA treatment plan.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate and communicate with therapists, providers, BCBAs, and caregivers for program implementation.
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff.
• Complete required training on guidelines and regulations.
• Record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing/payroll policies.
• Adhere to RBT ethics and patient privacy/HIPAA.
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers about progress; collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans as needed.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findingsCollaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
