Job summary

Magical Moments ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one and group ABA services in a compassionate, family-centered environment. You will follow treatment plans created by BCBA, collect progress data, and maintain a safe, supportive setting for clients and families.

You will collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals, while adhering to privacy policies and state/federal regulations. A valid RBT certification and ABA knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• 6+ months ABA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
