Job summary

Autism Learning Partners in Ohio hires compassionate caregivers to support children and teens with autism. Roles are available Part-Time (up to 20 hours) or Full-Time, with weekday shifts from 3:30pm–8pm or 8am–6pm, primarily visiting client homes and some sessions at local centers.

This position includes paid training, the chance to earn an RBT certification (adds $1/hour after completion), daily pay, and benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, mileage reimbursement, and a cell

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• High School Diploma or GED completed and college coursework in progress.
• Valid driver's license, reliable car, and insurance.
• Willingness to pass background and health checks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Help kids learn through play and structured activities.
• Be a positive role model and track progress with families.
• Provide services primarily in clients' homes with some sessions at centers.
• Stay active during sessions and maintain organized records.

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours) & Full-Time
• Hours: Availability required all weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm OR All weekdays Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $21-$26/hr
• We'll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification - earn an additional $1.00 an hour upon completion.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Successful completion of mandatory training which includes: New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and overlaps. You will also need to pass an exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos
