Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral support to students in a school-based setting. Working under supervision, the RBT will implement ABA programs, assist classroom instruction, and help promote positive behavioral outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 40-hour RBT training, and RBT certification; prior experience with children or special needs is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have or complete 40-hour RBT training before start.
  • Implement ABA programs and collect data accurately.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support under BCBA/BCaBA supervision.
  • Adhere to RBT Ethics Code and confidentiality.
  • Strong collaboration with teachers and related service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Implement BIPs and ABA programs as directed by supervisor.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support in classrooms.
  • Collect, track, and maintain data on student behavior and progress.
  • Support students in skill development and classroom participation.
  • Use de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques when needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers and related service staff.
  • Maintain professional communication with staff and supervisors.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with standards.
  • Complete documentation timely.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral and instructional support to students in a school-based setting. Working under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA, the RBT will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, support classroom instruction, and promote positive behavioral outcomes. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and ABA programs as directed by a BCBA/BCaBA
  • Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support within classroom environments
  • Collect, track, and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress
  • Support students in skill acquisition, social development, and classroom participation
  • Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Maintain professional communication with school staff and clinical supervisors
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable ethical and regulatory standards
  • Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Supervision
  • Reports directly to a BCBA/BCaBA
  • No supervisory responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a 40-hour RBT training program (or willingness to complete prior to start)
  • Successful completion of:
    • RBT Competency Assessment
    • RBT Certification Exam
  • Ability to adhere to the RBT Ethics Code
  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
