HealthCorps in the greater Charleston, West Virginia area seeks a Regional Program Coordinator to implement an innovative community-wide wellness program that empowers teens to make healthier choices for themselves and families. You will train near-peer mentors, engage schools and community partners, and help deliver HealthCorps activities across 10–20 sites during the school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in health/education.
• Experience mentoring teens and building relationships with schools.
• Strong organizational and creative problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with universities, schools and districts to deliver health programming.
• Recruit, train and oversee near-peer mentors for in-school delivery.
• Assess community health needs and measure program impact.
• Deliver HealthCorps activities and events across multiple sites.
• Promote HealthCorps initiatives via social media and reports.
