Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Regional Market Sector Leader to guide the water and wastewater practice across the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic from Raleigh, NC, with a hybrid work model. This is a senior leadership role focused on strategy, pursuits, pricing, and subcontractor development while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in water/WWTP or related field involving construction of complex MEP intensive projects.
• Experience with water/wastewater projects for municipal and industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of design-build or alternative delivery methods.
• Proven leadership in safety, QA/QC, risk management, and financial performance.
• Strong business development skills and client network in the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic.

Responsibilities

• Direct business development efforts and pursuit strategies for water/wastewater design‑build projects.
• Manage construction planning, estimating, pricing, and execution for complex infrastructure projects.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design and construction teams through full project delivery.
• Lead subcontractor identification, vetting, partnering, and contract strategy.
• Review and manage prime contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Partner with HSE leadership to promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
• Drive collaboration across Dewberry offices and water sector teams.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Supports recruiting efforts aligned with market growth strategies.
