Job summary

Matrix Design Group, Inc. seeks a Regional Director of Water Resources to lead a diverse team across multiple offices, including Phoenix, and manage complex water resources engineering, planning, design, construction and permitting projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil or environmental engineering with emphasis in Water Resources or related field.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive water resources engineering experience.
• Texas PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months; multi-state licensure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads the organization in a broad area of specialization (e.g., watershed planning, urban drainage, flood hazard mapping and mitigation).
• Represents the organization in communications pertaining to broad aspects of engineering assignments.
• Prepares proposals to provide professional services to obtain funding for engineering projects.
• Produce project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and reports.
• Build upon our water resources client base through routine contact and networking.
• Maintain effective communications with clients and project teams.
• Ensure staff resources are deployed in a productive and profitable manner.
