Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in Oshkosh is seeking an Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences across multiple wastewater facilities. You will help develop training resources and support local operations teams in routine plant duties.

This role requires hands-on process operation, shift flexibility (day/night, 12-hour), and collaboration with regional technicians to ensure safe, compliant and efficient wastewater treatment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of wastewater plant operations experience.
• Travel-ready with ability to cover multiple sites.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts, including 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and absences.
• Provide training and development for local technicians in the region.
• Assist with start-up projects and new account support.
• Monitor and control pumps, motors, and valves to regulate flow.
• Collect wastewater samples and analyze lab data for compliance.
• Keep accurate records of chemicals, turbidity, and pressure.
• Coordinate with team members to optimize plant operations.
