Job summary

Ameritas is seeking a Regional Vice President (RVP), Sales and Distribution, to lead and manage the sustainable and profitable growth of the Region within Ameritas' Agency and Advisor distribution channel; specially covering multiple states. The role emphasizes recruiting, developing General Agencies, and executing business strategies to exceed growth and revenue objectives.

You will collaborate with Life, Disability Income, and Annuity teams, manage onboarding and training, and lead forecasting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance/securities sales and sales management experience with a focus on agency growth.
• Experience in an Agency System, IMO System, Independent Broker Dealer or RIA preferred.
• FINRA License (Series 6/7 and 65/66) required.
• CLU/ChFC/CFP preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and onboard new General Agencies aligned with growth strategies.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to exceed sales and revenue targets.
• Partner with Life, Disability Income, and Annuity product teams to meet objectives.
• Resolve barriers with functional support to enable sales and onboarding.
• Collaborate with peers to provide tools and resources for growth.
• Prepare sales forecasts and regional reports.
• Participate in weekly regional calls to discuss trends and plans.
• Work with underwriting on offers when needed.
