Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Portland, OR seeks a senior HR leader to execute the people strategy across the Northwest region, guiding culture design, change management, workforce planning and leadership development for about 12,000 employees.

You will partner with senior leaders, oversee labor relations, talent acquisition and total rewards, and drive strategic initiatives to attract and retain talent in a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Progressive human resources leadership experience with at least 5 years in a comparable leadership position.
• Accomplished leader in developing large teams and mentoring others in complex environments.
• Requires deep understanding of business environment, strategy and operational knowledge.
• Knowledge of organization design, change management, succession management, workforce planning, employee relations, and labor relations methodologies.
• Strong consultation skills and ability to customize solutions for the organization.
• Superior leadership, communication and client service skills.
• Experience developing diverse, high-performance teams.
• Strong ability to partner with HR Functional Strategy leaders to design customized HR solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive people strategy positioning the Northwest region as employer and health care provider of choice.
• Participate in National HR Leadership Team for strategic plan development and execution.
• Provide strategic leadership to senior leadership on people strategy implementations.
• Oversee workforce planning, succession management, learning and diversity initiatives.
• Negotiate regional/local labor agreements and participate in National Bargaining processes.
