Cogent Analytics seeks a top-performing Regional Vice President of Business Development to own their market and drive high-value sales. This is an elite closer role, designed for a hunter who thrives in a competitive, performance-based environment, focusing on prospecting and a consultative Discovery Process.

You will travel up to 75% to meet business owners, lead strategic pipeline, and partner with Cogent’s in-office team to secure 10+ meetings weekly and close high-value deals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of executive-level, consultative B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to prospect and close deals with business owners.
• Autonomous, high-energy hunter thriving in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and Driving Business Development: secure 10+ meetings/week with business owners.
• High-Impact Sales Execution: apply a consultative approach to Cogent’s Discovery Process.
• Market Leadership & Brand Ambassadorship: build presence with regional business owners and stakeholders.
• Strategic Pipeline Ownership: align with in-office team to maximize client-facing appointments and pipeline growth.
• Performance-Driven Leadership: success measured by prospecting, conversion, and revenue.
• Aggressive Sales Targeting: target a minimum of 35 touches per week and at least one Discovery commitment weekly.
