Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead all regional operations for the Charleston area. This role partners with executives to drive growth, operational excellence, and talent development across commercial, institutional, healthcare, and hospitality construction.

The VP will develop tactical plans, mentor teams, ensure safety and quality, and manage risks, with a focus on delivering on regional and corporate strategy while upholding The Samet Way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in construction operations with P&L and business development.
• Strong track record in Charleston market development.
• Proven leadership delivering operational, quality, safety, and financial goals in commercial construction.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tactical and operational plans for the Charleston region.
• Drive new business development and maintain regional client relationships.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams and staff for high performance.
• Collaborate with field ops, PM, executives to achieve company goals.
• Oversee Charleston-area project execution with quality, schedule, budget, safety, and satisfaction benchmarks.
• Build and maintain workflows that promote efficient, safe, high-quality work.
• Identify and manage risks with contingency plans.
• Promote The Samet Way in regional operations and uphold standards.
• Ensure compliance with Samet policies and regulations.
