Sysco is seeking a VP of Local Sales to lead the regional/local sales organization and drive market share growth. You will shape the sales vision, ensure capable processes, systems, people and culture, and coach directors to meet objectives. Travel up to 75% within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10 years sales experience with leadership of a B2B team.
• Experience leading a regional/local sales organization in a professional sales environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding plan objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing local sales organization to grow Sysco's market share.
• Meet and exceed company plan objectives during annual planning.
• Direct Customer Engagement through Specialists and Customer Experience teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Specialty, Regional VP’s, Market, and Corporate.
• Recruit and develop local sales leadership and sales colleagues.
• Manage performance and leadership development of Local Directors and Managers.
• Drive KPIs: new customer growth, sales growth, GP$ and market share.
• Coordinate use of CMP process to develop sales strategy and execution.
• Maximize productivity of selling resources and participate in campaigns.
• Represent Sysco at community and business meetings; promote company.
